Design Process & Techniques
The FrenzyLoop design process begins with washing and carefully analyzing second-hand garments ready for upcycling. While some ideas start with sketches, much of the work comes from direct draping and experimenting with different pieces to achieve the perfect fit.
Larger leftover fabrics and cutouts are stored for future upcycled fashion projects, while smaller scraps that can’t be incorporated into garments are repurposed into accessories, cushions, toys, or filling material.
The core philosophy is to give pre-loved clothing a new life cycle, refreshing or combining parts to create unique eco-conscious apparel and eco-friendly clothing, all while preserving as many original elements as possible to minimise production waste. This approach reflects the values of a sustainable fashion brand, turning creativity into responsible, one-of-a-kind designs.

In this section, Frenzy’s upcycled fashion comes to life through decorative embroidery and hand-applied I-Cords, creating unique images, patterns, and textures while revitalizing worn-out or overused fabrics. The knitted cords are made from repurposed or leftover yarns, as well as yarns sourced from local second-hand (charity) shops, and are hand-crafted on a knitting mill.
Each cord is carefully sewn onto the upcycled garment as appliqué. The result is one-of-a-kind eco-conscious apparel and eco-friendly clothing that reflects the creativity, individuality, and responsibility of a sustainable fashion brand.

Crocheting and knitting are time-intensive crafts, so these handmade pieces form a small, special part of the collection. Each garment is unique, crafted from yarn leftovers, repurposed yarns, or yarns sourced from local second-hand (charity) shops. Transparency is key-information about the origin of the yarns is available upon request (though, unfortunately, with some limitations). The Story
The story begins long ago with a determined five-year-old sitting in front of her grandparents’ house, crocheting her first flower- no matter how long it took.
Embroidery, knitting, stitching, crocheting-everything that fell under the “do-it-yourself” spirit, was an essential skill in my family. I grew up surrounded by the values of reusing, repairing, and upcycling long before the term even existed.
Though I chose to study mechanical engineering and later built a career in HVAC, dancing, designing, and creating clothing were always there to bring me balance so starting this shop felt like the most natural next step.
My goal is to inspire others to rethink consumerism (not only in fashion) and to consider the waste it leaves behind. I want to encourage creativity, nurture a sustainable mindset, and combine it with charitable efforts, all to make our planet more livable for future generations.
