Previously used and owned knitted winter sweater was upcycled and remodelled to this volcano sweater using knitted I-Cord yarns, handmade on an I-Cord knitting machine. Yarns used in this process were found in a local second-hand shop. This particular design, along with other pieces in the ‘Disturbed Nature’ collection, draws inspiration from an exhibition featuring aerial photographs of natural landscapes.

Upcycling

Frenzy gives a new life cycle to already manufactured and used clothing- refreshing them, or combining their parts into new clothing and accessories. We use as many elements of the original pieces as possible to reduce production waste and honour what already exists.
