This raffia summer hat is lighter and thinner than most crocheted hats on the market because it was crocheted from natural raffia rather than cotton or mixed yarns. Raffia was originally widely used for tying up plants, but it is also suitable for making baskets, place-mats, handbags or other nice and practical accessorize and household items. This model is not a typical upcycled project, because the raffia was bought and was already coloured, but a kind of an experiment with using untypical yarn choice.

The model will be ready for shipping 5-7 days after purchasing it and agreeing on all the necessary fabrication details. Upcycling

Frenzy gives a new life cycle to already manufactured and used clothing- refreshing them, or combining their parts into new clothing and accessories. We use as many elements of the original pieces as possible to reduce production waste and honour what already exists.
